That is because as a person builds their identity and relationship with God, His voice becomes louder and decisions become less blurred by us. Godly choices help minimize the chance of going back into old behaviors, though they absolutely will happen.

A women only Christ based center for recovery from addiction also seeks to teach all those involved that a life of service and involvement is not just a blessed life, but a fun life. Having a profound impact on the world is a gift and one we can all receive. It seems like work to go out of your way to impact and help others, but the positive energy created in the spirit is like bread to the soul. It's not the verbal praise or approval of peers where this energy resides, but in the quiet of the night, when you rest in peace, and the spirit acknowledges your efforts that this power is felt. It is quite incredible.
Create a Positive and Powerful Network for Sustained Recovery
As addicts, we have to always be on guard. One area this is of particular importance is concerning who you surround yourself with. So many of us put ourselves back in bad situations for the sake of "friends" who sadly have not decided for themselves that they want to change.
